Miss Julia Slifer

Hi! I’m Miss Julia! I’ve been dancing with Culture Shock for 20 years! I have competed in multiple competitions in various categories of dance such as tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, ballet and Polynesian. 

Polynesian is my heart and soul;  teaching the beauty and culture of Polynesian dancing is one of my passions. 

I have won multiple first place trophies for Polynesian dance, and am so happy to be back on the staff as a Polynesian teacher at Culture Shock! 

I am also the Polynesian costume coordinator, helping to  design and create all the Polynesian costumes. 

Outside of dance I work as a registered nurse for Reading Hospital. 

I love watching children learn and grow throughout the year. I look forward to teaching your children the beauty and culture behind Polynesian!
