Miss Amanda Guinther
Miss Amanda started out her dance journey in 1999 at Jackson Dance Center (formerly Ocean Academy of Dance) located in Jackson, NJ.
Here, she learned the styles of Jazz and Ballet. She competed in her first competition at Starbound in 2001, winning 1st place in Jazz.
When her parents decided to move to Hamburg, PA, she found Culture Shock to be her new dance home.
From 2002 until she graduated high school in 2010, Miss Amanda danced solely at Culture Shock, learning dance genres from Ballet to Hip Hop, including Tap, Clogging, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Lyrical, and of course our signature style, Polynesian.
Miss Amanda started teaching at Culture Shock in 2010, and continued until 2020. She has taught majority of what we offer here over those years, with her favorites being contemporary and tap.
Miss Amanda is back in 2023 and ready to continue her dance journey!
