Miss Julia Slifer

Miss Julia has been part of Culture Shock for over 20 years, training and competing in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Ballet, and Polynesian. Polynesian dance has always been her greatest passion, and she loves teaching the beauty and culture behind this style to her students.

She has earned multiple first-place awards in Polynesian competitions and also contributes her creativity to designing and making Polynesian costumes. Outside of dance, Julia works as a registered nurse at Reading Hospital. She is excited to inspire students as they learn, grow, and connect to the traditions of Polynesian dance.
